The hot pads are literally made from the turnout pants and coat inside liners. The liners are two layers thick, heat resistant, and durably made to protect firefighters in extreme conditions. The liner material is paired with a piece of turnout coat or pant fabric to make three complete layers. Some pads may have a patch sewn on, or reflective tape. Fire Crafted strives to salvage all materials and make them into durable and sustainable products with a very custom look and feel.
